This
22 Liter batch filter offers a easy and convenient manner
in which to dewater slurry samples and process concentrates.
The main
barrel is hinged to swing away from the base for easier
cleaning and access to the cake. By using the side mounted
hand wheel the screw jack secures the filter cloth and paper
between the barrel and base plate. |
The top plate and barrel are sealed using a rubber o-ring. A top
mounted funnel and 2" ball valve allows the slurry to be poured
easily into the pressure chamber. Air pressure is applied until
liquid stops flowing from the drain pipe. The cake can then be
easily removed by lowering the base plate and swinging the barrel
out of the way. The pressure chamber is 12"D x 12"H.
The drip tray makes for easier clean ups and for visual inspection
of the discharge liquid from the pressure chamber during operation.
All metal parts, which come in contact with slurry, are manufactured
from stainless steel for maximum corrosion and contamination protection.
The unit is shipped complete with feed / bleed valve, air inlet
valve, pressure gauge, funnel, and filter cloth.
