The UEE 8kV / 5kV unit power distribution system features a Toshiba
DV 400A drawout vacuum contactor. Each unit can also include a
fuse dload break switch, a motor starter or a circuit breaker.
Built from eleven (11) gauge steel and finished with dry powder-coat
polyester paint, these units feature double doors and sealed bolt-on
covers that protect against water and dust.
It is designed to function as a single unit or as a part of a
system of several units combined to form a complete underground
distribution center.
While the UCP-8kV is designed primarily as an underground distribution
unit, it is entirely suitable for other industrial applications.
