For 20 years, Wismer & Rawlings Electric Ltd., and now Unit Electrical Engineering Ltd., have partnered with Bombardier Transportation to be a world leader in the application of Linear Induction Motors (LIM's) for transit systems. Through these cooperative agreements with Bombardier Transportation we have manufactured the LIM’s for all Bombardier transit projects throughout the world, using this technology. With a dedicated shop focused solely on LIM manufacturing and service, and with the vast experience and knowledge in the manufacture and overhaul of Bombardier-designed LIM’s, UEE is at the forefront of Linear Induction Motor technology.
