The PS100 is a moveable pump control station specifically designed for open-pit environments. It features a modular 600V Motor Control Center and 240/120V station services. The individual pump starters incorporate moulded case circuit breakers and contactors with overload and ground fault protection. This unit can be supplied complete with custom programmed PLC control and cable receptacles.
These pictures show a portable pump control station custom designed for a tailings reclamation project at a mine site in southern British Columbia. It is equipped with 6 outgoing plug-in motor starters, a metering section and a lighting panel.
The electrical capacity, protection and control features are dictated by the customers' requirements, as is the sophistication of this pump control system.
