Since 1990, Unit Electrical Engineering has established itself as electrical engineering consultants and manufacturers of electrical equipment and systems. UEE offers clients a complete package from engineering, consulting, custom design and manufacture, through to site installation and maintenance of equipment, process systems, as well as the ability to provide mechanical and electrical personnel to meet all needs.

Products designed and manufactured in Okanagan Falls, British Columbia, Canada include a full range of electrical distribution equipment and custom built process control systems for various industries. UEE specializes in the design and manufacture of a full range of cable couplers, ranging from: low voltage (1kV), medium voltage (8kV), to high voltage (15kV) and (25kV).

UEE also specializes in manufacturing modular switchgear and power centers enclosed in unique all-weather enclosures which can be sized for various applications at the job site. This innovation has enabled UEE to fully assemble and pre-wire complete substations, switch houses and diesel generated power plants in Okanagan Falls, for shipping to the job site as complete sub-assemblies, resulting in a minimum of on-site labour and commissioning.

UEE also manufactures custom built switchgear and moveable substations for underground hard-rock mines where special design is dictated by geological constraints or adverse environmental conditions. This equipment is of modular design which eases transportation problems underground, requires minimum on-site assembly and wiring, and is specifically designed for easy fault finding, limiting down time

In recent years, in conjunction with Analytical Laboratory Consultants Ltd., Unit Electrical Engineering Ltd. has expanded it's manufacturing field to incorporate 'Modular Laboratory' buildings and 'Assay Laboratory Equiment'. This equipment includes filter presses, sample blenders, sample drying ovens, sample screener devices, laboratory fixtures such as work benches and dust exhaust hoods.
